I grew up in the 70s and 80s watching this car 0059 at Portland International Raceway driven very successfully by Monte Shelton. I did not know it was a former IROC car at the time. Monte was our local hero who often showed the visiting Trans Am and IMSA pros the fast way around.

this car is indeed in portugal and raced recent in tour de espana, it leaded but abandon due a litle out from the albacete circuit and the gravel dammaged an oil pipe

Owner Pais do Amaral from Portugal but I thnk the car is in France 2005 e 2006 in Tour de France.

Hey, just because in 1971 I was driving around in a Pink (yes, I was color-blind) 1963 VW van with big flower decals in varying colors, not to mention the cloth-curtains and the incense, it really doesn’t mean that I’m wrong about the “Acid-Blue” color of that IROC car. As a matter of fact, if you want to get technical, it was my very good friend “Glenn Stazak” that provided me those details. A- I think you might be having a flashback... I don't think there is a factory color called "Acid Blue" http://www.pbase.com/slidevalve911rsr/911rsr_factory_cars_iroc_9114600059_acid_blue Or maybe it was one of those paint to order colors like "Poppy Orange", Heroine White or Mary-Jane Green ?
