According to my records Victor Hugo O' Farril from Mexico City did purchase the Carmen Red car 9114600116 - You are correct

The Photo on your web site taken at Rennsport ll with Fidapaldi on it is my car now Peru Red Chassis # 9114600050 I did purchase it from Stoddard Imported Cars in 1974 while I was working for Chuck as service manager Porsche Audi . The color was originally Aubergine. This is the car Peter Revson finished 2nd at Daytona behind Mark Donahue

A.J. Foyt drove it Race 1 at Riverside & finished 6 th
Richard Petty drove it Race 2 at Riverside & finished 10 th
Emerson Fidapaldi dove it Race 3 & finished 3rd after starting 10 th

Peter Revson at Daytona final Race finished 2 nd behind Mark Donahue

I'm attaching a few photos you might be interested in - I'll send in a couple of emails becuse one might be too large

Hello Bob and thank you for your post. So the information I was given that Mr. O'Farrill of Mexico purchased this IROC in 1974 is totally incorrect? If so, then please confirm so that I can update the website. I certainly don't want to be posting any errors here. BTW, what about this photohttp://www.pbase.com/slidevalve911rsr/image/74877483 and details, is this also not true?

The IROC RSR with Fittipaldi is my car I purchased it after the Daytona Race- Chassis # 911 4600050 - IROC.engine # 6840028 The car was origanally Aubergine - it now is PERU RED
Driven at Riverside Race # 1 by AJ Foyt -Race # 2 by Richard Petty Race # 3
by Emerson Fidapaldi The Final Race at Daytona Peter Revson drove it car # 2 and Finished Second behind Mark Donohue
