...Originally first delivered to Ruf in Germany, this factory 911 RSR 2.8 was sent over to FLAT SIX http://www.flat6.com/ in March 2002 for a complete restoration. David Mohlman gave the car to Flat 6 to restore.

Hi Armando, are you sure the work was done by flat6.com in 2002? I have informations written by Jürgen Barth (D) who inspected the car in 2013, that the restauration was done by David Mohlmann, CA, in 2005. He also names several races from 1974 up to 1978. Best regards, Thorsten

I recently put some earlier history from CH on Photo 4 page,

It is from 1983. If you have not traced it to that point ,or prior , by now. There's a starting point.

I have 911.043.0871 and would like to know more history...

The car came to the USA in 1989 from Switzerland...at that time it was being driven on both the road and track...does anyone have any history prior to 1989?

I have talked to Alois Ruf and he does not remember the car being delivered to him so I would like to find additional information.
