1975 Porsche 911 RSR, Chassis #911.560.9123

This was the "last" 911 RSR built in 1975 (chassis #911.560.9123). I was told by the previous owner (Dr. Quast) the 911 crashed during testing on the first lap and was later returned to the Porsche factory for repairs. After several years in storage, Dr. Quast restored it and sold it in 2004 for approximately $275,000. The RSR is now located in Belgium. I personally took these photos while attending the Rennsport Reunion II, April, 2004. The RSR is obsolutely "mint"!

By the way, if anyone has any vintage or period photos of this 911 RSR, could you please consider allowing me to post them here? Thank you for all your information and contributions!

Hello again J.D. The information I posted earlier and since corrected came directly from the previous owner to me, Dr. Guast. I will tend to agree that maybe is was not really called an "IROC", but then again, I don't know that for sure. The IROC series running Porsche 911 RSR's ended prior to this RSR being built... Armando, This car was not sold to Germany but to Belgium. Today the car is back in its original Henninger beer livery (being white with red striping), as raced by Ludwig Heimrath. I also states that it was an ex-IROC car. This is absolutly not true as the chasisnumber is 560 9123. Which means the car was build by Porsche in 1975, and it was actually the last RSR build by the factory in 1975 and delivered to Ludwig Heimrath.
