To this day I still view it as an extravagance. Okay, one that I love, but still. I was perfectly happy with my film Nikon F80 except for one thing: having to wait until the entire roll of film was finished before I could get my pictures. I'm not a prolific shooter, so it could take me months to finish off a roll. Now, thanks to digital, I have instant gratification.
It is by far the most complicated camera that I've ever laid my hands on. Part of me is in awe of what it's capable of, and how many settings I can customize; the other part misses the "simplicity" of shooting with good old film. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do with it.
Once I accumulate enough photos, I'll organize them into galleries. But for now, here they all are - at least, the ones I feel like sharing.
