Like I said...gnomes live here! Seriously, though, it's a door that someone affixed to a tree stump about 2/3 of the way up the Mt. Erskine Trail...someone who obviously has a sense of humour and time on their hands :-) The door is stricly decorative; it doesn't actually open (I did try it).
