Row Your Boat - April 25, 2005

Macro Photography. Definitely fun to play with. This is a shot of one of the recent
Lewis & Clark Expedition nickels. Well, one of the polemen behind Lewis and Clark on the boat
anyway. I'll be doing more experimentation in the future. I just had to break out one of my old
Nikon 50mm lenses to reverse-mount on my zoom. Unfortunately, I discovered that the lens is too
heavy and when shooting straight down from a tripod, the weight of the 50mm lens pulls the zoom
all the way out to maximum zoom. I've a lot of playing to do to get this down just right.
