I've been a bit remiss the last few days with my PAD. Felt it was about time I rectified this and
post something again. This is a large piece of petrified wood I bought on my trip cross-country.
It was purchased at the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona. This
particular piece stood out from most in that it was cut in a diagonal cross-section, displaying
the fine grains of the prehistoric wood.
