The first quay in Anadolu Hisari was built on wooden piles in 1851 on the part called Hisarönü which was at the end of residences.

In 1905, the old quay was torn down and a new quay was built.

The wooden piles were changed to concrete ones in 1989. At the same time the capacity of the quay lounge was enlarged keeping the old characteristics of it.
