Admiring a MER rover replica

Denver Museum Of Nature & Science, Denver, CO, USA

A small kid looks on in wonder at a full sized replica of the MER rover, two of which currently explore Mars. This was the day after the Opportunity landing, so the replica drew a lot of interest! The rover is part of a grand new exhibit at the museum, "Space Odyssey", which features a number of mars exhibits and as the centerpiece a large diorama of Mars where space-suited scientists carry out scientific work daily while taking questions from the crowd outside.
