I love shooting at White Rock Lake in Dallas.
There is a lot of variety to shoot there but I particularly love shooting the birds of White Rock.

This past week, my friend and I spent a Saturday morning shooting there and were appalled at the amount of trash that had washed up on the shoreline of Sunset Bay.
I had never seen it looking so bad.
It was to the point that it was difficult to shoot mama duck and her ducklings due to the trash.

There is a volunteer organization... For the Love of the Lake.. that meets the second Saturday of every month to clean up the lake area.
I think it behooves any local photographer to join in and clean up this mess and keep our lake beautiful so that we may take photos without worrying about cloning out the excessive garbage.
