Opened in 1888 Hotel del Coronado is one of the oldest and largest all wooden buildings in California and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1977.
'Some Like it Hot' starring Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis was filmed here in 1958.
