Although I've always lived in Sheffield I actually started work in Barnsley when I left college.
I haven't visited though since the early 90s when I participated in some road races!
I was impressed with the town as it is now, especially the futuristic transport interchange.
I actually bumped into a couple who I knew who said they didn't like it at all.
I suppose it's a marmite thing!
