It's real but sad image of street life. At least I'm glad that he found comfort in his own space, not being disturbed. And reminded many of us how fortunate we really are...

Strong Kal. Love the screen and the fan. Hope you did not wake him.

yes, I like this...

Really compelling shot! I would have entitled it "Live in Excess." It's like he had a huge meal, whatched TV until there's nothing more on, then fell asleep. I really like this shot! Strong vote.

This is amazing, Kal. And soooooo sad in the same time.

If the guy saw that photo he would have smacked you :)
Amazing shot. I'll say, this is the actual "real life" kind of photo.

Powerful picture, so rich of different elements...
I don't find it that funny and I don't think you had the intention to communicate anything really funny, nevertheless there is a little of sound and sympathetic irony, which I appreciate, just to avoid the trap of the total sympathetic political correctness.
There is a pinch of surrealism and also the concrte appreciation of this man 's creativity in furnishing is "home" with some apparently unnecessary comforts.
Another fascinating example of your talent to describe urban stories.

I love the incongruity of both this image and its caption. We have all been there and done that, but the whole world was not watching us (thanks to Kal) as it is here.( If I did not know you as well as I do, I might even have thought that this caption was an ironic comment on the image itself!)

This is terrific ... and I will look very much like this this afternoon watching football :)

Great title. Had a feeling I would like this from the thumb and the image did not disappoint. I like how the mans anonymity is [just] about retained. If this were just a shot of the man, it'd be a fairly standard / opportunistic street photo but the rest of this subject is so intriguing. Is that a PC monitor on the left?? It even seems to be on. V bizarre. Great capture Kal

Ya I noticed the two fans (necessities)
the main one broken on the floor
and the portable aimed at himself
