A very nice graphic shot. A sanctuary indeed, shielded from the outside world by layer of blinds, windows, curtains. You timely caught the man as he's about to enter or leave his sanutuary. Shall not disturb him and let's move on to your next image :-)
It's the ambiguity of the curtain this man pushes back over his shoulder, that gives this image its incongruity. It is as if he is rolling back the entire doorway to check you out.
