It is indeed. And on top of that you managed to create human balance.

Well caught Kal, it talks as your images do.

You plow some of the same "age vs youth" ground that Jen did in her iconic "Echoes of the Past" athttp://www.pbase.com/angeleyes_zyl/image/60848679 , Kal. However, you do it in a different way -- while Jen's old man seems to be lost in reverie, your subject seems determined to enjoy himself. If I look very closely, I think I see him eating an apple as he slowly negotiates the stairs. As for the kids in the background, they are too busy taking pictures of each other to even notice him. He does not make a ripple in their lives, but your image can make a big wave in ours.

The consistent and reliable slowness of wisdom...

A photographic opportunity for the young ones of their present, looking across at each other with love and hope for their future. A photographic opportunity for you, looking up to the aged one, reminded of his forgotten past, all written on his face, body and mind. Very moving indeed.

Soultouching, Roberto found the right words.
You had a fantastic point of view, which makes the image very powerful: the two youngs behind with their camera, their photographic opportunity. And this man in the stairs.

They found their photographic opportunity, you found yours. And what the old man is looking for? Perhaps a piece of memory he had of him and his loved one... A sad and touching moment! I love it!!!
