What strikes me is the adult's hand coming out of dark, almost like it's crying for help...
Yes, the story of a life beyond understanding. A child imprisoned by a world he did not create and does not yet know. You give us much food for thought with this image, Kal, and you do it by keeping it very simple and letting the light on his face make your statement for you.
