The players' hands fanned before me.Their dubious value disguised behind a poker facade that rose from the table faster than the wind.My incredulous stare shuffled back and forth among the deck of cards stacked against my favour.While the betting chips rained like shrapnel around me.It was everyone for themselves in the new game.As I questoned if this was a fair deal.

Ana is right. It is a dual world image -- a theme you often return to. Because that is what all big cities really are. Particularly in China, where change is coming faster than most other places. A study in contrasts, the built and the unbuilt, the few and the many, the new and the old.

Another photo where two different worlds seem to inhabit the same image... And the way the man seems yo been lost in contemplation makes this feling so strong... Excellent!
