Yes this works a great shot and well spotted I like this one . My own preference
would be sharper , as much in focus as possible .Expect the hand was moving rapidly !I love black and white to havelots of texture as feel its in this area black and white is best. Great shot well done Kal.

Yes Phil moving in is what it was all about. From a distance the complexity of the tangle would be lost, and the selective focus was to emphasise the 3-dimensionality of the task. Delighted that you like it!

Wonderful, Kal. Very simple, very abstract, and very incongruous. And because of that, it is very humane. Talk about a complex task!!! And complexity is a human value. You used selective focus to suggest that these tangles go on forever. And the key -- you moved in!!
