it must be some interesting argument on the street...arguments do attract a lot of spectators. except for the guys in the wheelchair who are missing out.
You and Jen have pretty much discussed this one out, as well. I like the way you have decided to tell this story by shooting behind everyone but the man who is coming towards us holding a fan. They guy leaving is usually the guy we see from behind. Here everything is incongruous turned inside out. Good thinking, Kal.
Yes Jen a great interpretation. There is a third layer here that we do not immediately see....I am excluded, but also watching this show, and all of us are watching a different show. The crowd are watching the real show, the man in the wheelchair watches the crowd, as I watch him, and I am watched by the man leaving the crowd. I see infinte stories here.
Amusing shot! But at the same time bitter. Nobody really cares about each other, they just wanna make sure they get to see the show themselves. This is a picture about indifference and to be left out, in such a busy world..... The man on the wheelchair has been left out by the crowd, and the crowd has been left out by the man on the side walking toward us...What an interesting circle~
