You are indeed very skilled at implying meaning through motion. I see the linkage here you refer to -- a flowing sense of unity and trust does indeed come through.

The Greek philosphers believed that there were three levels of a relationship; Lust, Friendship, and True Giving. The final one they believed was not achievable by many, since it involved giving so much of ones self that you became vunerable and with no self-interest...you become an object that could be abused if the other partner did not return those feelings in an equal way. This lady dancer has given so much of herself to this man that she has become an object, a feather as you say, with which he can do what he wants. You feel her trust in this dance.
Kal, you always have the ability to use motions to express your idea. This picture is just a pure magic.. It goes far beyond a dancing scene. The girl's body seems as light as a feather and she is just like a bird about to fry. Also, as you said she gives all herself to the other person, it is about trust and letting go...and all that, to me, express the soul of this dance.
