After visiting places like Dubrovnik, Kotor, Split, etc., Korcula was pretty much a step down for me. In just a couple of hours you can cover just about everything there is to see here. There are a couple of little museums and a church in the town center, and that's about it. You can circumnavigate the Old Town area in about 10 minutes, and that's if you're walking slowly. One of the draws here seems to be the making and selling of jewelry made from red coral. This little industry is legal here and strictly regulated, but being a snorkeler and scuba person, I think coral should be left in the sea where it belongs.
