A pigeon perches on St Mary's Bridge (over the River Derwent) in Derby on 19 April 2019. The Grade II* lsted structure was built between 1788-1793 by Thomas Harrison and replaced a medieval bridge that was demolished in 1789 as it was 'too narrow and hazardous to wheeled traffic'.
