From Banaue I went on a walk through the rice terraces and past the villages of Tam-an and Poitan.

The track took me along the concrete edge of an irrigation channel for most of the way, with steep drops to the side.

Thanks largely to the fact that I checked with almost everyone I met that I was going te right way, I didn't get lost; I also managed not to fall to my death, which is probably obvious!
