The pretty village of Batad lies in the heart of an Amphitheatre, and is one's reward after a two hour hike.

I took a guide, young Donny, and was grateful for his assistance...but that's mostly because I'm a bit of a wuss with heights, terminally clumsy, and can get lost walking in a straight line.
