I was out for a drive with my camera when I spotted this fabulous field of poppies in the Alkham Valley. I parked up, waded through chest-high stinging nettles, and climbed over a fence to get a closer look. It was nearly an hour before I could tear myself away from the glorious sight. I hope you enjoy the photos; they were well worth the stings I got from the nettles!
