I visited the town of Madikeri in the Coorg district of Karnataka. The town itself has a few things to see, but the main draw is the surrounding countryside. Being a lazy girl, I just did an easy, one-day trek; it was most enjoyable, and the views were magnificent. If you come to this town, make sure you do a trek, or you'll be really missing out.
