Four bays were opened on the Norco side, then crews began opening on the Montz side for a balance.
I cannot help but feel sorry for all the animals that will be harmed and displaced by the raging water. Deer, rabbits, coyotes, raccoons, possums etc. will scurry to find dry land on either side of the guide levees and many will drown and be killed.
