The old bridge was totally destroyed by Hurricane Katrina and for more than two years people were ferried between Bay St. Louis and Pass Christian.
The new bridge has a bicycle lane and a pedestrian lane separated from the motor vehicle lanes; a very people friendly bridge.
Coleen Perilloux Landry retains the international copyright not only for the original image but also for any versions of it.
