New Orleans' Recovery Czar Says He's Going Back to Australia

The man in the blue shirt without a jacket

More than two years ago the buffoon Mayor of the City of New Orleans hired this man, who appears to be sleeping, as his Recovery Director; a man who touted his credentials and who was going to bring New Orleans back after Katrina's devastation.
As of today, not one project has begun. Not one public building in New Orleans is operable. The man is never in New Orleans, he is always trotting around the globe with his latest trip being to consult with the Sheiks in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates as to how to grow their country.
His base salary in New Orleans is $150,000 and he gets lots of perks, too. The man has done NOTHING to earn any of it.
He announced yesterday that he may leave the job in January. He still draws a salary as a professor at the University of Sydney, Australia.
I say to him "bon voyage, adios, and good riddance."

May 6, 2009-Recovery Czar told the media he is leaving for Australia on July 1, 2009. He has still done NOTHING for the City and is STILL collecting his salary. I do hope he takes his personal aide, from Australia, who earns $90,000 a year, back to Australia with him. She has also done nothing except stay by his side. Ohhhh, what a mess.

Every time I hear from friends and family in Louisiana about what is going on in New Orleans, it makes me sad but glad Mary and I made the decision to leave. I miss New Orleans very much but sad for those that are still there.

Dear Colleen; I don't trust politicians of any persuasion anymore, except for a few bright examples, politics is the science of compromise and another word for compromise is prostitution. I fear for America and what is coming in the near future. I already voted, and being a Roman Catholic, you know, I voted for John McCain. Please check this following website; catholicplanet.com. Click on the prophecies of Garabandal and read what this man believes will happen starting April 10 of next year, which by the way is Good Friday. I hope and pray somehow he is correct, but I'll let you read that for yourself. I'm terribly sorry for your husbands, triple bypass surgery? I did see your comment after my picture of the skull. I made those up with some effort in Photoshop, and we will now hang copies of it in my family's medical clinic. God bless you and your family, and please pray for us all in a specially for America. Your friend Al Lee.

Another good mark for the "new clean" Louisiana !!! Hopefully he will take his always packed suitcase andgo back to Australia. (Anyone care to pitch in for one-way tickets to send a few politicians with him ???

How do I get a job like that? Glad to see that the city continues to exhibit the politics that has made it so famous throughout the years. So much for Katrina washing away the garbage.
