A Photo Every Day, 1st September 2003 - 31st August 2004

Welcome.

1st September 2003

I have been most impressed by other daily galleries that I have seen on Pbase.
I hope that starting my own will improve my photography.

I have received much encouragement from Nikki who has egged me on to start this gallery.

1st March 2004

It is now six months since I started this project. I have enjoyed myself very much, not only with the photography but also with the good friends I have made.

I started with a desire to improve my photographic technique. This I have partially attained by being much more familiar with my camera.
During the second six months I intend to build on this by using the facilities in Photoshop to tweak the end product more often than I have in the past.

I enjoy this gallery and had a close look on many of the pics. The way a real photofreak sees the world is somewhat different of the common people. The eye of a photographer is like a lens and all he sees around is a shot thru a lens anyway. This gallery shows life around you and your's without tricks and unnecessary fakes and setups. Good work and keep on truckin. There's realy not much to improve here Chris.. realy not.

Hi Dad I'm sorry I never get time to look at your photos cos I do think they're excellent. I just took time out to have a look at your gallery and I think it's ace - loved the pics of Rothampstead Park and the fireworks...and the gulls... ok, all of them! Shame about the one of me eating lunch with the family - I should have posed harder! .. But where's this pic of the snowman at the Tate? Can't find it... Keep up the good work! Love Nell xXx =>
