Christmas Past

I have spent most of today taking down the Christmas Tree and decorations.
I removed the baubles and lights from the tree, put the dustbin along side it, a cut the branches into 8 inch pieces straight into the dustbin with a pair of tree croppers.
That way it made very little mess.

The last thing I found was the glass bowl with the Christmas pot pourri.
The decorated fir cone was amoung the smelly bits.

I used the close up lens, and a daylight bulb in a desk lamp.

Glittery and pretty. Nice shot Chris. Taking down the tree can be sad, huh?
