Fields of Summer by Jose Pearce

I gave Adrienne this small painting for Christmas.
It is one that we saw it at an exhibition in Harpenden a few weeks ago.
The artist is local but I don't know as yet where the view is located.

We have been looking for a painting to go over the fireplace for a couple of years.
It is difficult to find just the right one, subject and size, at the right price.
We saw just the thing last year for £3000!!!!!
Looking is good fun and is mostly done on holidays.

I think it's wonderful you gave her a painting! What a sweet, romantic gift!
I would have asked for a camera....

Very lovely painting. You'll have one view; once you find where the painting was painted from.

Lovely painting, you've framed it well, too. Is that the sea on the horizon? I took a photo in the summer, which had I panned to the right a bit, would have been almost identical to this painting. It was taken in Swanage . But obviously, this could be anywhere (including the artist's mind's eye)!

You should have just taken a picture of it in the shop and framed it!

Great picture, great painting. I don't think the £3000 one would have been any better.
