Mt Everest at over 29,000' (the World's highest point) in the upper right hand corner, taken from Kallar Patthar at 18,132'

Nepal

The famed Khumbu Ice Fall is visible in the lower center of the picture as it descends between Mt. Everest and Nuptse (25,700') to the right. Everest Base Camp is situated on the Khumbu Glacier as it makes its turn to the right (from the viewer's perspective) in the lower left-hand foreground of the photo. Viewed with the naked eye, this is an extraordinary scene. The summit of Kallar Pattar,at 18,132', is the second highest point that Jan and I have ever reached. Only Ururu Peak on Kilimanjaro at over 19,300' is higher. The summit of Kallar Pattar was a huge struggle for me.
