When I look back on this panorama that I created the environment seems warm and welcoming. Perhaps that illusion is based in the intense color of the sandstone bathed in the warm light of the setting sun. The reality is that it was bitterly cold and the wind was blowing so furiously that I could barely stand still to capture the individual frames. I don't think I have ever been colder when photographing anything. Brrrrr!
