Line of Light

Home, dining room

I really love fire. I'd love to photograph it more. But I'm going to have to take a class on how to photograph flames. This was the best I could do after almost 2 hours of various attempts.

I welcome any tips from people who know how to get good photographs of flames.

Wery cool composition.

Try to center spot meter the flame very close in and establish a manual exposure setting. When taking the shot, bracket for various results.

Maybe I can set you up for a fire clas where you can photograph till your heart's content... course you'd have to fail the course so I wouldn't get fired... and you failing would be tough!
