The goal is to convert the top layer into B&W. Once done, we will allow some of the color layer beneath to show through.

To convert the top layer to B&W, go to IMAGE ---> ADJUSTMENTS ---> CHANNEL MIXER, like in the illustration. Click on Channel MIXER to bring up the CHANNEL MIXER DIALOGUE BOX. Proceed to the next slide.
