This is what I would call one of my "boring test shots" :-)
The only exciting thing is that I was using a Contax N Digital DSLR and the
50mm f/1.4N Planar.
Contrary to what some people may think, Zeiss bokeh is often not "soft and smooth"
but rather harsh at times, especially if you're not real close to the subject.
But this "harshness" often give images a certain "look" that whether you love it
or hate it, it stands out.
I have used the 50mm f/1.4N Planar before and it is capable of smooth bokeh, but
you need to be near the subject, as in a portrait, and not have a lot of clutter in
the background.
