I was able to procure the use of the rare and legendary Contax N Digital,
in my view, the Holy Grail of Digital SLR's.
The Contax N Digital was announced in late 2000, sold in 2002, and was only on the market
for a short time before Kyocera/Contax pulled the plug on it. It was a 6 mp,
35mm full-frame DSLR.
The camera was on the market for such a short time that most people today probably
don't even know about it, and all but a few hardcore camera geeks remember it.
Contrary to what many people think, the first full-frame 35mm DSLR was NOT the
Canon 1Ds. It was the Contax N Digital.
The samples and reviews on this camera online are scarce. I hope to add to this
small collection with some new images from this classic digital camera in the near future.
