Badges and Symbols 111.jpg

Prisoners were marked with discriminatory badges and symbols. The pink triangle marked those as homosexuals and were easy targets for the guards. The bull's eye meant you were alway a target for the gunners and may have tried to escape. Colors were used to denote political prisoners, Jews, Jehovah's Witnessese, Criminals, and Gay Men.
Yellow Stars of David were worn by Jews in ghettos and in the camps.
