Rigged up inside the standing timber, Thunderbird TT-90 S/N T-9055/Y-9051 was reaching out 2,200 feet pulling turns into
wide corridors with the Boman motorized carriage seen hanging there on the left. Loading machine here was a Cat 325B.
Yarder is one of 2 Thunderbird TT-90's built from the ground up; Ross-built 4-axle carrier and tower with TY-90 hoist.
Machine was sold new to Hopkes Logging of Tillamook Oregon in February of 1986, and had been purchased by Nygaard
Logging of Warrenton Oregon by the time I took these pictures in 2005 near Jewell, Oregon.
