I got this lens too late this evening to do any serious photography. At least here is a **comparison shot** between this one at 10 mm and my "L" lens at 17 mm.

Yup - It's surely a wide angle, all right. Very, very wide! I'm more impressed, however, by your choice of dinner tonight - a couple of bottles of something (is one of them an O'Douls?), some tortilla chips and salsa - hard to really make out everything going on here, but it looks like the kind of meal I can enjoy!

Looks like a great lens. The comparison shots really show the difference. Opens up a brand new world. Hmmm....now you have me thinking too!
