May 29: Home Sweet Home

Rancho Bernardo, CA

I realize this is not a very dramatic or exciting image; however I wanted to share with you this long lens shot of my agapanthus blooming on the right and the wonderful jasmine outside my bedroom on the left. This is about as purty as it gets here in terms of curb appeal.

The long lens may not be the best tool for a shot like this, however I like the foreshortened look which makes it seem that my home is backed up tightly against the hill.

If you missed it earlier, be sure to check out the ***Color Blindness Test. ***

Very nice, I enjoy seeing images of different neighborhoods across the country and world. A beautiful home. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like the home of a highly creative photgraphic/PS genius to me. :o)
When do you have the time to so such immaculate lawn care?
Herb 30-May-2005 12:22
I know this place, nice home even without gutters.

Just had a thought, Robin. You could use the front yard as a practice green! All you need is a flag, a hole, and a putter. Go for it!

The jasmine looks beautiful and it must smell divine!

Then it really does not ever rain in California...no gutters !! that's amazing. Your home is a lovely looking place & the angry panthers ( hehe ) look super against the blue wall.

Nice homey atmosphere Robin. You sure don't have gutters like we do :)

Nice house. Do you trim all those shrubs yourself?

I like your house. The agapanthus are doing well and the jasmine fragrance must be heavenly.

Do you still have wood on top of your house? It's time to change the roof!

Cool place ... do you do all that triming?? Lots of work there.

I've only got the purple agapanthus, but lots of jasmine also.

That jasmine is beautiful and your agapanthus is really doing well. I'm impressed.

I would love to have jasmine outside my window - you're very lucky in that respect. Do you ever hike up that hill behind your house?
