Yes, this is the "new" guy holding the baby. He's not Pbase yet. I'll have to lure him on after he gets comfy with the camera.

Ah I wish I was as certain as Lou about the 20D being bug free. Mine freezes at times. So you sold the 10D, eh? Very brave of you. I bet it has found real happiness in its new home.
Karen Leaf22-Nov-2004 01:13
You used it well Robin, and a fitting shot for your last.

The 10D is an object one needs absolutely to buy used from a happy owner. If you buy it new you risk to become a guinea pig for some time until all problems are repaired on warranty. Fortunately, Canon has resolved those treats on the 20D which seems to be very reliable. My friend who ows a Photoshop told me that there are no problems at all with the ones he sold. It has some soft bugs but those problems have to be resolved by future firmwre upgrades.

Not going to get any sympathy from me Mr. 20D. I hope your friend enjoys the camera, tell him he should join pad.

Where is your 10D going? I must have missed something. I am surprised you aren't keeping around for a backup.
Pepe Zyman20-Nov-2004 22:12
Bye, bye baby!

Sniff! Sniff! I miss it already! But I'm glad it found a good home. (Great shot, btw)
