November 4: Back to ‘Normal’

Rancho Bernardo, CA

After all my posts related to the election and the World Series, I’m moving back to more casual images that have no passionate message. I started today with steak on my new grille and threw a couple eggs on top to make a nice brunch which will hold me ‘til dinner.

For those of you in “deteriorating” climates ;-), please note while just a bit damp today we are having our usual 70F degree weather.

I’ll have a little surprise (photographically speaking) to share with you either tomorrow or Saturday.

Toss a couple of shrimp on the barbie for me, Robin. I got a grille myself a few weeks ago and i LOVE it.

Could be the EOS 20D? Great to see you smiling!! About the weather, even here in Veracruz is a little bit better. Now we have temperatures about the 75oF and windy days. That`s cool!!!

Sure, practice rubbing it in, 'cuz you'll have plenty of time to perfect the torture over the next 4 months.
Hope you enjoyed your breakfast.

I won't be grilling out for quite sometime now, and I am not happy! The older I get, the more I HATE the cold and darkness and wind and snow and gray, ugh!! K, must go take my zoloft now. :-)

Now that's what I call a steak!! Yes, I am jealous - my grill is all out away for the season. :/ Nice photo, Robin.

That looks really good, Robin. Watch out, you may have quite a large group arriving at your house.

Yum, I can smell it from here. I'll be over shortly.

Nice grill, Robin. I need to go out and get one while they are on sale. Climates never deteriorate in Colorado...you just switch activities here. This time of year, I start to look forward to driving everywhere in a sideways slide. That way, I fit right in with all the California crowd that moved here over the summer. LOL :-)
Cheers

Those guts and that steak fit together like the fist and the eye. Buon appetito, Robin, enjoy that one.

Jacky, I have always been a poster child for low cholesterol.

Hi Robin,

I'm not sure where Rancho Bernardo is from Irvine, but it's as if I can smell that hunk of meat... Mmmmmmm!

Robin, not a new toy, but a new essential.
The need for food and shelter.....LOL

Jeanne, my dear, bacon is a meat ... and much "worse" for you than a good lean NY steak with the fat trimmed off (after being cooked.) And this is on my low carb diet. ;-)
Guest 04-Nov-2004 17:55
OK, I'm NOT a big meat eater (is bacon a meat....cause I do like that) BUT.....something must be up with me cause I want this steak!! LOL!!
