June 24: Leaves

My back yard

These leaves caught my eye because of their color and the shadows. I like the gold against the green of the grass. (Note: the grass IS mowed.)

Agree, the gold is very striking against your mowed grass. And the shadows add dimension. And I like how they are curled up, spooning, style. BUT... it is SO too early to be posting yellow leaves. Here, that means fall is coming and every beautiful yellow leaf has 2000 brothers and another 6000 cousins. I get exhausted thinking about it. That said, I like your yellow leaves, and so I'll be leafing now.....

Apparently the tree that these leaves came from is not part of that elaborate watering system you installed. :)-
