June 19: White Agapanthus

Rancho Bernardo, CA

Did you ever notice that we PaDers post a lot of flower shots --- at least those of us who don’t have pink wigs, charming children, cute animals, or sexy models? ;-)

This was taken outside and it was not done in a soft box like the June 17 image Blue Agapanthus. And I’m pleased, ye olde garden continues to grow.

Oooh, this is gorgeous. I love the fact that the flower is a little worse for the wear. Charming.

Beautifully done, esp like the black background, emphasizing the white. Did you use a black cloth or do it in PS? Nice frame, too

Looks like it was created in a studio. Very nicely done

Wow, I'm surprised this was taken outside -- it looks like a studio shot! Very nicely done. The exposure is just right, and the subject is tack sharp.

Beautifully done Robin, I have animals, but they don't like my camera much, my kids are grown, one gone, one hates his picture, my hubby is not a willing candidate, sooooo, looky out flowers, here I come, at least they can't turn and run. :-) I have a feeling come the winter months, you all will see my whole teddy bear collection one at a time. ;-)

Beautiful photo. We only wish we had beautiful models dangling around our necks to shoot photos of. Hense I stick to scenery, its always ready, doesnt move, and wont ask for royalties :)

Now if I could only pronounce the name of your flower...

Welcome to the wonderful world of flowers. Great shot.

I vote for the beautiful models.
I think Will Rogers said, "The nice thing about growing
old is beautiful women come in a wider range of ages."

Nice shot, Robin.
I especially like the frame you put it in.
