May 17, 2006

I got a new cell phone this week, a Palm Treo.
It is an amazing little gizmo.
I found out today that I can view, and comment on,
photos of my favorite Pbase artists using the Treo.
Amazing!

Lemonade Cleansing Fast Day Two

The second day of fasting went very well.
My only temptation was a shapely pear I spied in the fruit bowl when I walked through the kitchen.
But I pushed it out of my mind. The balance of the day was normal, except there was no food.
Whenever I felt hungry I sipped a glass of lemonade.
Lemonade made with maple syrup and a pinch of cayenne pepper is a complete food.
It satifies hunger very well. The only thing missing is protein.
My body will start feeding off of weak fat cells to get protein. That normally starts on the third day of the fast.
The third day is tomorrow...

A cleansing fast certainly is not for everyone,
so this is not a recommendation.

Excellent shot.

doesn't this spike your glucose numbers? I would guess a total carb 'diet' (for lack of a better word at this point) would freak your body out and make it LOOK for protein (that's suppose to be a question, not a statement)

Just when I'm catching up they bring out something new :>) Are both you & Jill on the fast or is she having to hide from you :>)

Technology...isn't it great..only problem is my eyes have not kept up the pace..can't see the darn buttons and my fingers seem to hit the wrong keys all the time.

Neat new toy. I have internet access with my cell phone too but it costs extra. And the bandage is off!

Amazing technology, I'd have to get my reading glasses on for that.

It would take me forever to figure out that gizmo. How long does that fast last? No chocolate for three days so far.

Ah ha! A new toy to offset the loss of food. Good idea. Those are great little dealie bobs.

It doesn't look like those buttons qualify for "EASY READ" Dave :) I cna barely see the monitor in front of me, lol.

Sounds like this cleansing is working-how long is the process?
