Classic shot John, love the way the tree branches frame the foreground. V

I came across a photograph of my maternal grandmother as a young woman (togged in evening dress.) As I know absolutly nothing about her except that she was married to a Banker in Belfast I was surprised to find it was taken in a studio in 'West Kirby'It looks as if it was taken at the turn of the century. Unfortunately, the beginning of the photographers address was chopped when the picture was framed. I looked up West Kirby and discovered photographs of the railway station she must have used as it was at that time. I also came across your pictures and whispered to myself - "Thankyou unknown Granny." I am a painter (The Artist sort) and have ben painting the try to paint the ethos of weather - seasons... the feeling. Not only are your pictures evocative but I can feel what it's like to be there. Beautifull shots with something more.

Beautifully lit, arresting image. I can only say "ditto" to Steve's comments.
Voted. Larry
