Life and times of Trafalgar Square



I work just a few yards from one of the most famous landmarks in London - Trafalgar Square.
I have been taking photographs on the square ever since I bought my first digicam in 2004 and have seen an incredible variety of life and events pass through there. Images in this gallery cover daily life and special events from 2004 to date. It is an ongoing project and new images are added frequently.

There's almost no better project than to shoot the same place, or the same person in a same place, over a long period of time. I love this type of study. Well done. Keep going! :)

Wish I still had the photos I made of the Square in the 1950s. Would be interesting to see what has changed -- had how much has remained the same.

terrific slice of life photos, I agree with the other comment; you should contact the Tourism office or whatever department is responsible for such things and offer these photos for publication. I think they'd be fools not to take you up on it. Especially impressed with the photos you've made withe LX1. A beautiful gallery!
